Everest Data Centre

The Amito Reading Data Centre is a high-quality new colocation facility and benefits from dual and diverse 11kV power feeds supplying 2N to each cabinet, and is designed to provide 1.5kW per metre. KIPO were appointed by Everest to provide a discrimination study aimed at selecting protective devices and adjusting their settings in order to limit interruption to electrical installations under fault conditions.

Our services and solutions:

• Ensured that the devices in a distribution path were ‘coordinated’ to reduce nuisance tripping and making it easier to identify where a fault has occurred, or might potentially occur.

• To prevent danger and where required for proper functioning of the installation, the manufacturer’s instructions were taken into account.
