KIPO were contacted by the Ascott Group to conduct a visual survey and report on the condition of MEP services at the Citadines Trafalgar Square and Citadines Holborn.

Surveys and reports that enable the end clients to gain a better understanding of their MEP service conditions, addressing the following;

1. A visual survey of the MEP services

2. Review as to its condition, decapitation and remaining life expectancy

3. Maintainability

4. Any proposed corrective actions

5. Budget costs for those corrective actions found

6. Priority works recommended

7. Completeness of the O&M safety manuals

8. Function of the smoke and electrical fire systems

9. Potential disruption to the hotel when undertaking works, with mitigation measures considered

10. Red, yellow and green flag simple defects list

11. Comments and suggestions on energy efficiency

12. Executive summary for high level understanding

13. Suggestions of proposed CapEx works on services

In addition, KIPO were asked to lead the replacement and design project for the Citadines Holborn air conditioning units which included providing detailed design to tender, KIPO overseeing the tender stage and contract realisation.
