University of Exeter Biosciences Lab
This project involved the complex refurbishment and fit out of the University of Exeter ground and first floor levels.
Our services and solutions included:
Relocation of the Bioscience building and class rooms to suit the University’s end goal requirements.
Project involved providing a detailed visual survey and corrective actions for the MEP services while considering the needs of the project for feasibility stage.
Rooms were designed in line with the existing service risers and main distribution routes.
Risers were retained, services ceiling voids kept in place, with new switch-rooms enhanced and designed correctly.
Mechanical ventilation strategy in keeping with the project needs. Additional services considerations were taken on board and new chilled water systems were installed in stand alone areas.
Project delivered new room layouts catering to the end user requirements, with just one achievable workable solution.
Fully coordinated consultant’s drawings and technical specifications provided for tender, all installed without major problems.
