London 2012 Olympics Water Polo Arena

KIPO were appointed to be the lead designer of the electrical and mechanical services for the Olympics 2012 water polo venue. The commissions included detailed engineering deliverables, a discrimination study, a harmonic study, lighting design and the EMC studies. The protection and discrimination study was given immediate status A by the client’s consultants to a study relating to the upstream and downstream breakers surrounding a UPS. The selectivity between the breakers indicated that the UPS earth fault clearance of an MCB at Truss level at 150A.
