Thermal Imaging
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging is the process of converting infrared (IR) radiation (heat) into visible images that depict the spatial distribution of temperature differences in a scene viewed by a thermal camera.
It is used to identify any areas of faulty thermal insulation and use the results to improve the efficiency of heating and air-conditioning systems. Thermal imaging captures information in the infrared spectrum of light invisible to people, therefore it can provide valuable extra information.
